IGAC and Cortolima captured officials would have favored Constructora in Luxury Condominium in Carmen de Apicalá
Prosecutor 27 of the Crime Unit with the Public Administration announced this Thursday details regarding the capture of the 24 unionized people to commit bribery, falsification of documents, among other crimes, which threaten the environment.
The accusing entity revealed how Cortolima officials, Fernando José Alcántara and Óscar Fernando Cardoso Osuna, would have requested irregular payments to the construction company El Poblado to advise it in obtaining environmental permits to make the construction of the Villa del Mar condominium, located in the sidewalk, located in the sidewalkEl Brazil, municipality of Carmen de Apicalá.
According to the Prosecutor's Office, Alcántara and Cardoso were contacted by Luis Carlos Guevara (who in his status as a contractor and official of the IGAC) would have coordinated all the criminal act for having contacts inside Cortolima.
“Fernando José Alcántara and Óscar Fernando Cardoso Osuna requested payments to illegally advise a construction company who wantswhich, Luis Carlos Guevara, using his condition as a contractor and official of the IGAC carried out a cadastral procedure for said construction company and was the person in charge of coordinating all the criminal act by contacts he has inside Cortolima, ”said the prosecutor before the judgeof guarantees control during the capture legalization hearing.
Also, the participation of employees of the construction company El Poblado was evidenced, including its legal representative, where crimes against the environment were also detected.
In this fact, Edwin Andrés Gutiérrez, person in charge of the work was captured in flagrance.In visit to the property, contamination of a body of water and the drying of it could be corroborated.
According to the Prosecutor's Office, this person was captured by the alleged commission of the crimes of damage to natural resources and echocide.
It should be remembered that the director of the Agustín Codazzi Institute (IGAC) in Tolima, Mauricio Mora, is involved in this corruption network.
According to the Prosecutor's Office, officials and contractors of the Institute would have addressed “the assignments of the requests of the users that require cadastral procedures: collection of cadastral procedures that are free, collection of expediting procedures such as area corrections, enclosure disgust, decrease in property tax, among others.To obtain this purpose, the participation of career public servants and contractors assigned to the IGAC, some individuals and professionals in topography, as well as some users who act as cohechestors, ”said the delegate.
