Ram 1500 Limited, example of strength, luxury and versatility
There has always been a belief that Ram trucks, particularly the 1500, were part of a very specific group that used them for work only. However, in the last decade, the ram brand has made an evolution in these light trucks that are now taken into account for 4 × 4 or for family outings. The example of this versatility is the Ram 1500 Limited, a unit that boasts its advances in conjunction with the heritage of the past. 
The bodywork is unmistakable in a 1500: robust, tall, aggressive, imposing, but with a touch of sophistication that has made it much desired. In the case of the Limited version, which we tested, it has details that immediately stand out.
The hexagonal grille with the RAM emblem in the center is the starting point for the LED headlights, as well as a chrome fascia that features fog lights and tow hooks. On the chest, a couple of very marked strokes to highlight the muscles and a detail that also stands out is the inscription 1500 HEMI E TORQUE. 
Throughout the body, chrome accents prevail, the wheels are no exception. In aluminum and with a measurement of 22 inches, they could not be less before the structure that the wheels move.
Something that is also oversized are the side mirrors. Immense size in which there is no way to lose sight of the exterior of this pick-up.
The back is one of the things that stands out the most. The large chrome ram logo vertical skulls with light signature type C. Chrome bumpers that complete the set of fascias to the same tone.
Access to the tray can be in several ways, specifically four. Not just the usual downward opening of the door, but horizontally, an opening 60-40 can be made, that is, there will be a couple more options. In addition, it has a remote opening system. 
For the interior there is no surprise in terms of space. The ostentatious distribution makes all passengers travel peacefully. Storage spaces are equally plentiful. The compartment under the armrest has a double bottom, with an area to place even a small bag.
In the glove box, the amount of objects is very good and is enriched by the secret compartment in the dashboard, just in front of the passenger and above the glove box. A gate in wood finish is the access.
Continuing with the woody touches, the steering wheel is one of the most popular elements in particular. The combination of leather with wood on the circumference is tremendous. 
It provides a touch between the conventional and the modern as it is multifunctional.
Analog and digital cluster accompany the driver to see the performance of the unit during trips, while the usual knob is the one that will operate the controls for driving.
The central console does not go unnoticed at all. 12-inch touch screen with dual-zone air conditioning below, and below, yes, more space for objects of all kinds.
The seats are heated and ventilated. Comfortable like very few and like everything in this vehicle, large. Adding the panoramic roof, the experience for a departure is exceptional. 
The performance on the asphalt is a guarantee. It should be noted that as it is a very large vehicle, it must be driven carefully through narrow streets. You win in comfort, but in space it is not as abundant as in other states or countries.
Removing that, acceleration is immediate thanks to the small mild-hybrid engine, which gives this light truck its first impulse. Subsequently, the HEMI puts the necessary force to navigate freely where you want.
Thanks to the air suspension, the 1500 is capable of placing itself even higher above the rest of the vehicles, but this is specifically for off-road, while if you go down to the minimum, you can count on more adrenaline at the time of accelerate, because it wins in aerodynamics.
Road imperfections are no match. It will be difficult to find any obstacle that really makes this pick-up struggle. There is firmness, but the feeling of smoothness is also present to continue to press the accelerator with confidence.
It should be clarified that the always rumor that this type of vehicle spends large amounts of fuel, is true, in part. Its objective is not to save fuel and whoever buys a Ram 1500 is aware of this, but the gargantuan amounts it consumes are not entirely true either. The first imposition of the electric motor is not to improve autonomy, but it will help to some extent. 
There is poise and the sense of pride of being on board a luxury pick-up is inevitable. There is fierceness in its handling that combines perfectly with all the luxury finishes it has. It's not just driving, it's feeling different, and that's something the Ram does quite well.
The suspensions work excellent and both in straights, curves, ascents, descents and rough terrain the solidity is perceived, so the acquisition of Ram 1500 Limited is recommended, of course, as long as you are willing to invest in a vehicle that will demand but it will add a lot
THE SECRET
Ram 1500 Limited has three different suspensions: the front with double shock absorber tube, rear Multilink and self-leveling air. The latter gives you the different types of driving: Off-Road 1, Off-Road 2, Exit/Entry and Normal. This suspension will raise or lower the height for the best off-road performance or even sporty performance.
