How the robbery happened

What we know about the defendants

Three suspects were arrested after the Berlin Properties in November 2020.

Two brothers were captured in December 2020 and May 2021, and the last suspect was arrested last summer.

Two of the suspects had already been convicted of stealing a 100 kilograms gold coin (220 pounds) of the Bode de Berlin Museum in 2017.

Police had said, during their persecution, that suspects were members of the so -called "remo clan", which are known for their links to organized crime.

Four other men were under investigation on suspicion of helping and instigating when exploring the crime scene the previous day.

The trial was expected to last until October.
