Palacio Fernández Anchorena
Construido a principios del siglo XX en la esquina de Alvear y Montevideo es desde 1952 la sede de la Nunciatura Apostólica.It was the place where San Juan Pablo II remained during his visit to the country in 1987.In the 20s the official residence of President Marcelo T.of Alvear and his wife Regina Pacini.
El edificio tiene un estilo academicista francés y fue diseñado por el arquitecto Edouard Le Monnier.

Díaz Vélez Palace
Before the yellow fever epidemic, Barracas was the neighborhood chosen by the Buenos Aires aristocracy. El Díaz Vélez Palace es una de las pocas obras que quedan en pie de ese pasado de lujo.Located in Montes de Oca at 100, since 1930 is part of the sanitary complex that houses the Rufino de Elizalde hospital.

PAZ PALACE
The Paz family, owner of the newspaper La Prensa, ordered to build its residence against Plaza San Martín. Con 12.000 m2 covered and 140 rooms was the largest and most luxurious in the entire city.It was designed by the French architect Louis-Marie Henri Sortais and finished in 1914.Since 1938 it is the headquarters of the Military Circle.

Leloir residence
Obra del arquitecto noruego Alejandro Christophersen -uno de los preferidos por la élite porteña- fue la residencia de Antonio Leloir, quien encargó su construcción en 1903.It has a French academic style, with halls on the ground floor, rooms in the two upper floors and a wide rear garden.Since 1944 it is the headquarters of the Italian Circle of Buenos Aires.
