During the 365 days of the year, for three decades, Hubble has been accumulating images of our Universe. It is for this reason that NASA decided to create a fun initiative to publicize these photographs of the cosmos.
A lot of archival material is already uploaded to the “What Did Hubble See on Your Birthday?” page: “What did the Hubble see on your birthday< /b>?”. From this NASA platform, you simply have to add your month and day of birth.
Later, the page will return an image with its respective informative details of what Hubble photographed that day. Although it is not specifically an image taken on the day you were born, the page will show you the most significant find that Hubble made during the date of one of your birthdays .
Among the information that the page will display is the year in which the image was photographed, the name and type of object captured, and the distance at which it is located.
Once you have an image of the part of the cosmos that Hubble photographed, you can share it on your social networks. The hashtag to do so is #Hubble30, as this platform was launched to commemorate the birthday number 30 of a telescope that is undergoing its fifth space mission and probably its last.
