The Nation / The five hidden jewels of the Assumption
We all know what Miley Cyrus, Doja Cat or the Foo Fighters can offer us, but Asunción 2022 brings many artists who are going to make people talk with their shows.

Important names have passed through this stage and the new edition will not be the exception with the band led by Dave Grohl and the former Disney star as the main attractions. In addition to those who arrive at their best like Machine Gun Kelly, Doja Cat, Nicki Nicole or Justin Quiles.
But before each one of them closes on their respective days, other bands will be presented that could captivate and surprise the public (it is worth clarifying that this text has a totally subjective view of the writer).
Now, let's see some of them:
He Killed a Motorized Cop
Consolidated as the most representative indie band from the city of La Plata, Argentina, we saw how this band grew from playing at houses to being recurring names at festivals like Primavera Sound. It is already his fourth visit to our country, but the first in a festival of this type. His shows are minimalist but captivating. More than one will be repeating their phrases and going to explore them on Spotify after this concert.

The greatest will remember the invasion of Brazilian bands to radio stations, mainly Latin music in the 90s. One of the inevitable was this group from Belo Horizonte. His show low in revolutions, but full of vibes, is ideal for the sunset at 5 or 6 in the afternoon (depending on the time zone that touches us at that moment). Like El Mató, Las Ligas are a well-loved name on the indie scene and their show unleashes many mixed emotions. Let's remember that they were part of the Coachella poster in 2017 and this year they were nominated for the Latin Grammy Awards, as "Best Rock Song" for the single I did everything wrong.

The name of Laura Pergolizzi (LP) may not sound familiar to us, but we know her songs because she has written songs for artists such as Cher, Rihanna, Backstreet Boys, Leona Lewis, Mylène Farmer and Christina Aguilera. She has just released the long-awaited sixth album by Ella Churches. In addition, she enjoys more than two billion views and a devoted fandom worldwide. Her name is recurrent in similar festivals and her voice will kidnap more than one ear in Asunción.
Jane's Addiction
It seems a contradiction that one of the most emblematic bands of the 90s could be here and more confusing if its singer is none other than the creator of Lollapalooza. Many of those who go by Miley Cyrus or Doja Cat do not register them much and those who go to see Foo Fighters only know some songs or locate them by name. If Juanas Addiction's show continues to be like it was a couple of decades ago, it's going to be the amount of uninhibited rock that every festival needs. Similar to what Lenny Kravitz gave us a few years ago.
The Asunción festival will return on March 22 and 23, 2022, at Espacio Idesa, after two years of absence, and it will do so with a constellation of international music stars.
