The third most valuable diamond ever found in Botsuana ever found
The debswana company, a diamond producer in Botsuana, announced on Wednesday the discovery of a diamond of 1.098 carats, the third largest of this type ever found in the world, according to her.
This stone, discovered on June 1, was shown to the president of the country, Mokgweetsi Masisi, in the capital Gaborone.

Laboratory diamonds
Debswana is jointly controlled by the State and by the Beers South African Diamond Company.
The biggest known diamond is the "Cullinan", of more than 3.100 carats, discovered in South Africa in 1905.
The second, 1.109 carats, was found in 2015 at the Karowe mine, to the northeast of Botsuana, first African producer of diamond.
