Bershka opens the new store on Calle Preciados that connects Plaza de Callao with Puerta del Sol. An original restored 19th-century building on Calle Maestro Victoria 5, an emblematic place in the heart of Madrid. A new store that is based on verticality and the visual concept with elements not seen so far.
Bershka Preciados is a unique store. Located in an original 19th century building stuck at number 5 Maestro Victoria street. The reform has joined two buildings of different levels to generate a building with a spectacular result based on its visual impact. It is a vertical space communicated by windows and a staircase with overhanging steps. Verticality is taken to the highest level until reaching the fifth floor that houses a sculptural object. The new Berskha Preciados store represents a contrast of materials and volumes with the combination of rectilinear geometry and the curves of glass.
The new store explores textures that depart from traditional establishments to produce a feeling of warmth and modernity with earthy material and industrial elements that organize the garments. Also noteworthy is the use of steel in a game close to origami. Without a doubt, Berskha Preciados gives prominence to clothing despite being an elegant and modern space. The checkout area is located in a metallic corner presided over by steel and mirrors that give a feeling of infinity on an industrial floor. As for the changing rooms, they are connected to the ground floor and are designed and built in the shape of a helix. In harmony with these parts we also find the Click&Collect corner to collect online orders between sophisticated lights and galvanized steel.
About the chosen furniture, the mixture of warm and cold materials stands out. Metal tubes for hanging garments and stone structures with a very industrial aesthetic to support the collections. Without a doubt, the guiding thread of Bershka Preciados is nature, which decorates many of the corners. However, the most special aspect of the decoration is the participation of the artist JDEMSKY in two artistic works that are integrated into the interior of the store. Phase SN-X is a primitive-inspired metallic sculpture of unknown origin with a robust appearance and an optical and iridescent effect created by light reflection on its mirrors. The second work is the HYPRSPC Fitting Rooms, a hyperspace or multidimensional space that plays with perspective and dynamism.
