The coronavirus pandemic has had a positive effect on humanity: to be more aware of hygiene and cleanliness, especially with regard to bacteria and disinfection. There are many solutions on the market to sanitize our belongings as much as possible and one of the most interesting arrives in Spain.
LG brings to our country the LG Vapor Cleaner Styler, a cabinet that fulfills several functions, including of course sanitizing clothing, even preventing the coronavirus. But as is customary in many of the Korean firm's devices, it performs more functions.
In addition to all of the above, this steam cabinet has the ability to remove bad odors from clothes, dry them, iron them and refresh them. It's one of the easiest ways to maintain average clothing care without going to a dedicated brick-and-mortar store.
A steam cupboard?

As the name suggests, this is a cabinet that uses water vapor technology. It has an independent removable water tank, which prevents it from having to be connected to the water current and, ultimately, it is capable of eliminating 99.99% of viruses, bacteria and allergens.
This steam closet is also capable of dealing with the human coronavirus that exists in our clothes. However, it must be emphasized that it refers to the bacteria of the human coronavirus 229E (that is, one of those responsible for the common cold) and although in theory it could with SARS-CoV, the result could vary.
The interior of the wardrobe is heated to a temperature that ranges between 60 and 62 degrees in order to take care of the garments inside, since on many occasions vaporization technologies deteriorate the fabrics of certain garments. Complete sanitization takes about 2 hours, and no handling is required. Even so, we can manage the device thanks to the LG application for smartphones, since the cabinet integrates WiFi.

No type of chemical is used in the process and if we simply want to eliminate bad odors and refresh them, it will take about 20 minutes to have them ready. This function is intended for clothes that are usually clean but have taken on some kind of characteristic household odour.
We can add flavoring kits to impregnate our clothes with different scents, and if we want we can 'iron' our clothes, since the wardrobe has a program that reduces wrinkles, both for shirts and pants (using a special hanger). We will also have the possibility to dry our clothes at a low temperature.
Price and availability
This is not a particularly cheap device, although we have to bear in mind that it saves us numerous steps in cleaning our clothes through which we would need other devices. The Vapor Cleaner arrives in Spain in two finishes; standard white and mirror finish, each costing 1,599 and 1,799 euros, respectively.
