Just arrived from Miami, her second home. With a messy high bun, like walking around the house, a Kenzo sweatshirt under a fur vest, jeans and animal print flat ankle boots. I love my job. My father had a shoe factory and that's where my interest in fashion began, traveling a lot, going to fairs... That's where my enthusiasm for this world was born, "says Raquel.
His designs are classic and transgressive, a fusion that he achieves "through a set of ideas and processes because Skulls bets on classic-cut bags but with colors, textures that give them a certain daring but with warmth," explains the designer. .
Raquel is a demanding woman, therefore, throughout the entire process, both creative and productive, she “carefully takes care of all the details, noble raw material, I always work with vegetable skins avoiding chemical processes and that are of extreme quality. The materials coordinate with the inspiration », she assures.
For this winter, the designer has been inspired by the magic of the tropical forest where the fantasy of the wildest fauna and flora comes to life in her designs. Through an intense color palette, she transfers the diversity of the winter forest, wild and mysterious, to her designs with green, red, black and natural tones.
Her creations are “for an elegant, sophisticated, very feminine and independent woman. Above all, that she likes fashion and not wear what the majority wears », explains the designer of Skulls.
One of her signature characteristics is exclusivity because «there are not many units, twenty-five of each design. Although, there is always a permanent collection of which there are more », she assures. In the Skulls universe, the creative phase is important. Her designer assures that «inspiration is not daily, it is momentary. A trip, a fair... It depends on the mood. If I'm happy, more ideas come out."
