Many of us may have forgotten about GOG, the CD Projekt RED digital store that has been celebrating its Winter Sales since the second week of December. Along with more than 1,500 discounted games – including Cyberpunk 2077 at a price of 29.99 euros – the Polish company offers certain free games to celebrate the holidays with players, and it has been the turn of X-Morph: Defense Complete Edition .

This title, developed by EXOR Studios, the creators of The Riftbreaker, is available for free for only 48 hours. To access it, all you have to do is go to its official website and select "Claim this game". Once we log in —or register if we don't have an associated account—, X-Morph: Defense Complete Edition will automatically appear in our library.

El nuevo juego gratis de GOG nos lleva a invadir la Tierra en un tower defense que mezcla estrategia, destrucción y ¿mechas?

But what is X-Morph: Defense Complete Edition? We are talking about a tower defense where the peculiarity is that we are the invaders and we have to destroy the hostile forces of Earth. To do this, we will have to plan our strategy and build the different buildings to defend ourselves from the incessant waves of human armies.

The most remarkable thing is that as we advance, the enemies will be more numerous and difficult to defeat. A very interesting wave-based game mechanic where humans can even use fuses to defend themselves against aliens. X-Morph: Defense Complete Edition was released in 2017 and garnered very positive reviews on Steam.

As for what the Polish company has left to offer us, it will only give away one more game on January 3, of which there is no clue. What we do know is that across the pond, Epic Games will continue to offer us free games until next Thursday, November 30. Also, we can still access Control until 5:00 p.m. today.
