So if you want to use it to clean the silver you have at home, you will first need to have a bowl, water, aluminum foil and baking soda on hand. When you have all these products, heat the water in the microwave or on the stove. Keep in mind that it has to be enough to cover the silver products. In addition, if they are jewels and have stones that are not set, you should be careful that the water is not too hot as it could affect the glue.
Now we take the bowl that we had previously taken and line the inside with the aluminum foil. Once the water is boiling, add the two dessert spoons of baking soda little by little while stirring.
Place the silverware in the foil-lined bowl and gradually add the mixture. Let it sit for about 3 minutes and remove the jewelry from the bowl without burning yourself. Rinse with water and rub them with a cloth. If you have any part that is still black, you can try rubbing it with a soft-bristled toothbrush and delicately, do not scratch them.
