Catherine Middleton shared a series of photos honoring Princess Diana and Queen Elizabeth II.

To celebrate her 40th birthday, Catherine Middleton shared a series of photos honoring two members of the royal family.

The Duchess of Cambridge wore dresses by Alexander McQueen with jewels from Princess Diana and Queen Elizabeth II.

According to the Page Six portal, the red one-shoulder dress has a value of approximately 4 thousand 990 dollars and combined the Queen's Diamond Frame earrings.

In other black-and-white images posted, two outfits are seen, the first is an off-the-shoulder, bow-trimmed dress, while the second is an asymmetrical dress with ruffles.

Both outfits were wearing the Collingwood pearl earrings that belonged to her late mother-in-law, Princess Diana.

It should be noted that Diana had already worn these earrings before her wedding with Prince Charles in 1981.

Among the pictures, she also showed off her sapphire engagement ring and a three-strand pearl bracelet from the Princess of Wales. (Agencies)
