Thieves have a difficult time robbing Mehmet's jewelry store in the Turkish town of Diyarbakir. Getting a hand at the cash register is an impossible mission thanks to Memocan. If someone tries to steal money or gold, the rodent attacks.

The little squirrel has a vocation as a security guard. In addition, it has taken seriously the guarding that sometimes you have to put a brake on it to carry out the work inside the establishment.

Mehmet owns the shop, but not his little helper. He only takes care of her. Memocán's mother died and he found her injured in a forest, and since then, he has taken it upon himself to protect her.

"As soon as he recovers, he will return to nature. In the meantime, he will remain vigilant against danger and entertaining customers," the jewelry store owner told a local media outlet.
