Yoox does not stop growing. Now, the Italian luxury retailer has presented a new expansion plan in Europe: a marketplace with 700 firms and more than 150,000 new products, including Giorgio Armani and Valentino. This new line has already been implemented in more than 30 countries on the continent and we can find, specifically: luxury fashion items, jewelry, footwear and other accessories. Yoox intends that this is the prelude to its definitive expansion to the United States, Asia or other countries in North Africa.

With all this, the 'ecommerce' platform already has more than a million products, which makes it one of the most prominent providers in the electronic fashion sales market. In addition, Yoox also plans to incorporate second-hand and cosmetic products in the coming months.

The origins of Yoox go back to the year 2000, when Federico Marchetti founded the platform. Very shortly after, Natalie Massenet founded Net-a-Porter. In 2010, the luxury company Richemont took a majority stake in the latter in a deal that valued the company at $533 million.

Five years later, the group merged the company with Yoox, delisted the latter from the stock market and placed Marchetti at the helm. In 2018, the Swiss luxury fashion giant took over all of the group's capital and delisted it, nine years after Yoox went public on the Milan stock exchange.
