The Varsity jacket had always been considered an inseparable element of the preppy style; however, the 21st century transmutes all the rules and schemes that we used to know so that we can have (and propose) new airs to the world of fashion. So that what is known continues to remain on the margin of what is interesting. Of course, we are all in favor of the resurgence of the classics, but they must carry a reinterpretation or a new reading of how they are used. Especially now. And boy, this varsity-look jacket can accommodate this year's wiles and the interests of a reformed and increasingly bold world.
This is how the Varsity jacket takes a leading role in the men's collections for spring/summer 2022. Gathering, of course, the emotion that he keeps inside for college sports and summer evenings; but adding new lines and volumes that speak to the younger generations, as well as to a man eager for risky experiences and impact on his wardrobe.

That is, highlight its substantial elements such as large letters and leather textures on its sleeves, in addition to choosing more acidic and daring colors. Louis Vuitton knows the recipe for it. Extra tip: wear it with your favorite winter boots that already live in your closet.
With risky graphics
Dolce & Gabbana took this jacket even further. Highlighting the brightness of this garment, further marking its neck and cuffs, and adding a really impressive graphic, they managed to give the Varsity a radically different face than what we usually know. An extra touch is that bucket hat, one of the essential accessories for all 2022.

Halfway between streetstyle and preppy codes, Rhude showed us a very suggestive iteration of the Varsity Jacket. A slightly oversized V-neck cardigan that works perfectly with a classic polo shirt and loose shorts. Sneakers and jewelry are key to making this outfit look even more casual. A classic turbo silhouette that gets an update with the right pieces; just keep an eye on how short your shorts can be so you always feel comfortable.
Preppy 2.0
Now, in response to the previous point, if you want an ultra preppy look, go for the highly sweetened shades of Moschino. A look that will make you part of Y2K fashion at any cost.
Loungewear
More unstructured than on other occasions, one possibility is that you choose your varsity under the parameters of loungewear and, just as we saw at Dior, make it part of the basic clothing you need to be at home.
Apocalyptic
Finally, in a wilder version of this jacket, Burberry presented us with a black leather silhouette, snaps at the front and removable sleeves for days of intense heat. Versatility, proposal and utility taken to its maximum expression.
