A Moscow court ruled on Friday preventive detention for the Moscow blogger who broadcast the death of his girlfriend live, a case that has generated great consternation in Russian society. "The court has arrested Stas Reshétnikov after satisfying the respective request of the prosecution," they said in the Ramensky district court.

The man was accused of causing serious damage to the health of his partner resulting in death. Reshétnikov, known on social networks as "Reeflay", recorded live on his YouTube channel the death of his sentimental partner, whom he had previously thrown half-naked onto the balcony and left for hours in the cold. The 30-year-old blogger denied during interrogations his guilt in the death of 27-year-old Valentina Grigorieva.

In the images circulating on the internet, you can see how the youtuber drags Grigorieva by the arm into his apartment, dressed only in underwear and unconscious. The blogger called the ambulance and the police, but he kept recording everything even when the doctors had arrived and could only verify the death of the young woman. According to Russian media, on the night of December 1-2, the couple had an argument.

According to the blogger, quoted by the Baza channel, his girlfriend had "digestion" problems and he threw her out of the house "so she wouldn't stink." According to the same source, Reshétnikov, who had apparently used drugs, did not open the balcony door to let her in when she called for help and said that she was very cold.

Grigórieva was often featured in the blogger's videos, who humiliated her during live broadcasts, fulfilling her followers' requests in exchange for donations. The Gazeta.ru newspaper indicates that in one of her videos the man sprayed the woman's face with pepper spray and that in others he hit her and verbally humiliated her.
